This Privacy Policy explains how Taption Encoder handles information when you use the Taption Encoder mobile application for iPhone and iPad.
Taption Encoder is designed to convert video files on your device. The app does not require an account, and Taption does not operate an app server that receives your source videos or converted videos.
The app may use Apple system services, Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, and Apple purchase or device services as described below.
Taption Encoder lets you select videos from Files or Photos and convert them on your device. Your source videos and converted videos are processed locally on your iPhone or iPad. We do not intentionally collect, upload, sell, or share your video files through Taption-operated servers.
If you choose to contact support, please do not send private media unless we specifically request it and provide an appropriate transfer method.
The app may request access to selected videos so it can open, inspect, convert, and save output files. The app may also request permission to save converted videos to your Photos library as new assets.
Taption Encoder may store app data locally on your device, including settings, conversion state, pending save recovery information, purchase or Stars balance state, and diagnostic information needed to keep the app working. This data is used to operate app features and recover work if the app is interrupted.
Taption Encoder may display ads, including banner ads, rewarded ads, interstitial ads, and app open ads. The app uses Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform to request consent where required, load ads, measure ad delivery, prevent fraud and abuse, and support advertising operations.
Google and its partners may process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers where available and permitted, IP address, approximate location, app activity related to ads, device information, and ad interaction data. Their processing is governed by their own policies and consent controls.

If the app offers purchases, Apple processes App Store purchase transactions. We may receive non-sensitive transaction status information from Apple so the app can unlock purchased features or update your Stars balance. We do not receive your full payment card details.
